Moving around Snoqualmie
Snoqualmie is two towns wearing one name. The historic core sits below the falls on original lots. Snoqualmie Ridge spreads newer construction across the high ground above it. A move from one to the other counts as a real move even though the map barely stretches, and which half you live in is the first thing to know.
The Ridge
Planned construction means wide garages and straight drives. The open question is where a truck waits while boxes keep moving, and on a Ridge street that gets answered before the morning, because there is usually one good spot.
The old town
Streets below the falls come from another era, with original lot lines and widths. The parking plan gets written around what a truck can reach, and the older houses trade interior stairs for basements and outside steps.
The dates
Some weeks book faster than others: the end of a month and the summer stretch, like everywhere. If your dates have slack in them, say so in the request.
What happens after you send the form
The mover calls back and confirms which half you are in, the stair count, and where the truck ends up standing. The estimate comes back for that address, Ridge or falls.
Coverage
The Ridge and the old town both sit inside the same coverage list. Tap Snoqualmie on the form and the request goes to an independent mover covering the valley.
